Hi all. In this blog post, I want to take a further look into our customers that we wish to be catering for and the kind of reach we will have in terms of distribution and market opportunities.
Since our application requires minimal equipment or equipment that most restaurant have, the implementation is quiet easy and painless. This is a major advantage to us as we will only have to supply the application for use and as we also do not charge a licensing fee, we believe that more restaurants will take our app on for use. We will distribute our application through sales people that are stationed in each major city that our applications will be operating in, this allows for us to keep control of after-sales care and also quality control of how our application runs in each restaurant. The relationship we want to keep between our customers is that; the sales person in that region will be the first point of contact in any matters of the application, either in bugs, glitches or if additional help is needed. So the next question you might be asking is - who would buy this and why would they? As a whole, we cater for all restaurants and cafes regardless of size, however, as we discovered our gap in the market, we decided that we would focus on restaurants that have the same drive and ambitions in bettering the community. The Work For All app as a main focus is targeted to simplifying all hospitality processes and then this would allow for workers that have disabilities, but not only that, it will streamline the ordering and cooking processes for a restaurant and with the low equipment fee, start-up eateries can also employ our application for their restaurants. As we wish to run our base of operations in Australia and then further expand into Czech Republic and Scotland, we will be using social media to establish our brand and allow for the public to become familiar with our app, then we will move on to more a more traditional method - video advertisement. However, with our video, we will be aiming to use it as an ad on YouTube specifically for smart phones only, this is because the main material to use our application is already in their hands, we will save on advertising for not playing on the website as well and then we can find alternate avenues to strengthen our advertisement.
