First of all we would like to thank all of you who have been following our posts so far. We would like to take this opportunity to summarise what has been said so far about our vision for Work For All.

The Work For All vision to boost the number of mental illness sufferers joining the workforce through the hospitality industry can only be realised through a number of partners, contacts and resources which we are fortunate enough to have access to. Through this we are able to bootstrap the startup costs which makes the project financially viable in the long run. One of our key motivations is to ensure sustainability for the app – we are building a social enterprise, not a charity, and as such the sustainability aspect is critical to the future of Work For All.

This sustainability is built upon our strategy for the future which outlines expansion into Scotland the Czech Republic where we have local knowledge of the areas from within our project team. We are also motivated to expand so we can maximise our impact. Mental Health issues are a significant problem in both of these countries and also within Australia as has been discussed in our posts. It is our aim to reduce the impact of these issues and allow sufferers to lead a normal life in employment.

Initially the app will be targeted towards businesses in the restaurant and café sector that follow our motivations in improving the lives of those who suffer from mental health issues. These outlets will be the most interested in supporting Work For All and it is for this reason that we aim to work with them first.

The Work For All app will be unique in providing real world integration with businesses combined with an accessible user interface designed to support rather than obstruct. By running on existing, widely used, technology our product is highly accessible to the businesses and users that we aim to work with – the financial costs of implementing our system are low and as a result this boosts the economic case for adopting Work For All. Having said this, it is the social reasoning that we aim to highlight when promoting Work For All to business. In summary, Work For All will strive to be a sustainable social enterprise that supports the working lives of those suffering from mental health issues.

I hope you have enjoyed reading our posts, Gavin
